Our state-of-the-art refrigeration system assures a constant 57°F year-round temperature for optimum long-term storage of your wine. Temperature control is the most important factor for proper wine storage. Too hot and wines will age too quickly or maderize. Too cold and your wines or corks could be damaged, reducing the wine's delicate but complex tastes.
We have redundant refrigeration systems with tremendous excess capacity and our facility is extremely well insulated.
Humidity
The Wine Cellar Club maintains a relative humidity range between 65% and 75% for ideal wine storage. High humidity causes mold to develop and may spot your labels, whereas low humidity causes corks to dry out leading to rapid spoilage from air. We all know how the dry Santa Ana winds cause so many problems with brush fires, dry skin, allergy attacks, etc. but rest assured that your wine will be safe.
Store your wines in the perfect environment at the Wine Cellar Club.
Light and Vibration
LIGHT: Wine should be stored in dark, cellar-like conditions. Our lighting system is designed to provide the perfect environment for you and your wines. Our lighting has been selected to provide maximum benefits, minimum energy usage, and is environmentally sound.
VIBRATION: Constant vibration is very harmful to wine and will prevent normal development of sediment and cause your wines to age prematurely. The Wine Cellar Club construction model is designed to eliminate as much vibrations as possible.to assure your wines will not be disturbed during the aging process.
And, we built our lockers to meet all earthquake code requirements.
